LA MESA, Calif., May 2008 – A San Diego-based healthcare real estate developer, Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB), has completed the development of a new five-story, 65,000 square foot medical office building (MOB) on the campus of Grossmont Hospital in East San Diego County. PMB also constructed an adjacent 754-space parking structure.
Grossmont Hospital is one of four hospitals owned/operated by Sharp Healthcare, a San Diego-based not-for-profit healthcare system that has the highest market share in the San Diego healthcare market.
The hospital has leased two suites in the Grossmont Medical Terrace, along with space for a large outpatient imaging center on the first floor. Two other major tenants include Grossmont Dermatology and Alvarado Orthopedic. The building provides easy access for patients with two drop off areas.
